Networks, systems, and software — the fabric that makes a range usable as a lab, not only as a diagram.
About us
Simetra is built by people who teach the stack and people who have run it — on one hybrid OT cyber range.
The founding chairs
The core of the team is three university professors whose work covers the layers a cyber range actually needs: computation, electronics and hardware, and artificial intelligence.
Networks, systems, and software — the fabric that makes a range usable as a lab, not only as a diagram.
Controllers, I/O, and the physical side of hybrid tests — where a model has to meet a real device.
Methods that help teams see patterns in logs, scenarios, and process behavior — without replacing engineering judgment.
The wider team
Around the professors sit specialists with advanced academic degrees and several years of industrial work. They bring the domains that an OT range has to respect — not as slides, as constraints.
The mix is deliberate: research-grade thinking on simulation and hardware, and operators who have lived with ICS, production constraints, and the gap between IT and OT security.
A live demonstration and a technical briefing are sent only after a formal request.
